Mobile ATC Tower

Our mobile ATC vehicle is equipped with the latest technology, being fully refurbished in 2001 both internally and externally.

The equipment and vehicle have been approved by the CAA Southern Region ATCI and Central ATCI and have been used at major events over several years as a Temporary ATC Unit.

The equipment is configured to run on either mains power supply or generator, and has automatic internal back-up batteries with power supply change on visual and audio alarm. The vehicle is also equipped with air-conditioning, heating and internal lighting.

Fire and Rescue Equipment

We offer RFFS up to Cat H2 licensed heliport standard. The vehicles have been used at CAA licensed Heliports since 2001, in support of both major international as well as smaller national sporting events.

We provide highly experienced CAA licensed Aerodrome Controllers to operate all levels of service with the ATC vehicle as well as offering fire and rescue personnel fully trained to CAA Lower Category Aerodrome Fire-fighter Standard in support of our vehicles.

Our main vehicle underwent complete exterior renovation in 2001 and is fully equipped with the latest rescue and fire-fighting equipment to H2 licensed standard. The trailer carries a newly refurbished Perrin unit providing 270 litres of AFFF and ancillary fire fighting media.

Both vehicle and trailer have been inspected and approved by the CAA Aerodrome Standards (RFFS) and have exceeded their requirements.

Geko Staff

Geko staff are highly experienced and specialise in all areas of executive aviation. We have an extensive knowledge of executive charter and worldwide helicopter positioning whilst also being CAA Licensed Aerodrome Controllers and fully trained to CAA Lower Category Aerodrome Fire-fighter Standard, able to operate all level of service from air traffic control to fire and rescue in support of special event heliport operations.
